while i didn’t get a chance to record my set at equinox in 2009, i did manage to save the tracklisting. i had enough requests that i decided to play through it one more time at home and was reasonably pleased with the results. it does lose a little something when you’re not standing in the mud under a large tent in a downpour though ;)

this mix has been brewing for quite a while as i’ve slowly pulled together many of these tracks. i finally had the time to sit down and get it together at the very beginning of 2009 after a fun little new years party in asheville, nc. it does get a little introspective at times – but that’s what winter is for, right?

at the end of 2007 i moved to a small town called granite falls in the foothills of western north carolina. i recorded this mix in february of 2008 after finally settling in enough to set up my gear – this was my first time recording in this location, and my first time recording with my new ikey recorder. the levels jump a bit but i felt like it was good enough to preserve & share.
